Vocera Appoints Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Human Resources
William Zerella and Linda Esperance join Executive Team
SAN JOSE, Calif. - September 27, 2011 - Vocera Communications, Inc., announced that William Zerella is joining the firm as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Martin Silver, who stepped down for medical reasons. In addition, Linda Esperance has joined Vocera as the company's first Vice President of Human Resources.
Zerella brings over 30 years of financial experience in both private and public companies. For the past five years, he was the CFO and VP-Finance and Administration at Force10 Networks, which was recently acquired by Dell. He is a CPA and has a BS in Accounting from New York Institute of Technology and a MBA in Finance from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
Esperance joins Vocera from MarketTools, Inc., where she was Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to that, she was co-founder and Vice President of Product Management of Bridgestream, Inc., a software company that was acquired by Oracle. Ms. Esperance has spent the majority of her career in Human Resources, working and consulting for Bay-area technology companies. She holds a BS in Psychology and Business from San Jose State University.
